A team effort within Sheffield's professional services sector has enabled local print specialists Garnett Dickinson to strengthen their business base and grow sales to over £45 million with a new acquisition. The management team of Pinnula successfully completed a MBO of the software business of IMS Limited. The Hart Shaw team assisted the management in acquiring the business from the administrator of IMS. The restructure and the ability to exit historical debt from an MBO completed some years ago will ensure Pinnula prospers.

James Taylor of Hart Shaw Corporate Finance supported the team that have acquired the business of Neil Simmonite, Stewart Price and Neil Richardson. Shale is a long standing engineering business operating in Sheffield. The acquisition was the result of a retirement sale and has enabled Neil Simmonite to become the Managing Director of the business and for Stewart and Neil who also own SNA Grinding Services Limited to broaden the skill base and services they can offer to clients. James advised on the fund raising, structure and valuation.
