Andrew Maybery FCA - Senior Partner
Over the past 30 years, Andrew has been involved in developing Hart Shaw to the present full service practice.
An active registered Auditor and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Andrew is also an experienced business advisor with a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring forward.
He has a long standing involvement as a board member or trustee in “not for profit” organisations, combining his out of work interests with his professional life. Andrew has regularly lectured and presented tutorials to undergraduates at Sheffield University, and seminars to the business community.
Andrew’s is Hart Shaw’s representative in IAPA (The International Association of Professional Accountants), which in turn has lead to his appointment to the Board and Executive Committee, holding the portfolio of Finance Director between 2006 and 2011. IAPA is an international association of 230 firms of independent accountants located in around 60 countries throughout the world. Resulting from this activity Andrew has excellent professional connections, not only locally and nationally, but globally.
Key case study
Andrew has dealt with clients ranging from SME’s right through to large privately owned groups of trading companies in all sectors with turnovers up to £100m, and has recently dealt with a global trading company fully listed on the London Stock Exchange, generating £180m of sales with £50m of shareholder funds. He also spends time advising companies in distress on ways and means of saving their business.
